A Historic Presentation on the Durham Company Minutes from 1728!

Come down and learn local history at a presentation on the Meeting minutes for the Durham Iron Company from 1728!
The presentation will take place at the Durham Mill tomorrow, Sunday, July 26th at 2:00pm.

David Bretz will be presenting the actual Meeting Minutes of the Durham Company and Ironworks for the Durham Historical Society monthly program. Beginning with the very first meeting held March 1728, these Minutes provide a detailed first-hand account of the Company’s first two years. These Minutes will provide answers to some long-asked questions including who built the first Durham boat (it was not Robert Durham) and who ran the ironworks operation. Please consider joining us.
David Bretz, PE, PLS is a local Historian, Professional Land Surveyor and Licensed Civil Engineer and has done extensive work on deed and land patten research in Pennsylvania.
The Program is FREE and a question-and-answer (Q&A) session will follow along with light refreshments.
